The floating desalination unit in the 26 best projects in E.U - 01/02/2008
RegioStars are the annual awards, given by the European Union, to projects with an innovative character and an impact on the regional economy.
In less than four years the OP ‘Competitiveness’ has secured a place among the top Sectoral Operational Programmes of the 3rd CSF in terms of its take-up of funding and level of legal commitments, increasing more than fivefold its take-up rate from 15.1% to 78.29% and channelling 2,230,000,000 Euro to infrastructure projects and business investment plans.
‘From vision to reality, from HTCI to Corallia’ - 19/02/2008
A special event was organized today, Wednesday 30 January 2008 , to officially announce the new name – Corallia – for the Hellenic Technology Clusters Initiative (HTCI) . At the event, held at the Micro-Electronics Innovation Centre in Marousi, a presentation was offered of the progress made during the first year of operation of the Centre, and also of the strategic objectives of Corallia in promoting further development of innovation in Greece.

The Ministry of Development is launching a road show, visiting all 13 Regions of the country to brief them on the results of the Operational Programme ‘Competitiveness’ (EPAN) and, above all, to gather information on the needs and expectations created by the new Operational Programme ‘Competitiveness and Entrepreneurship’ (ΕPΑΝ ΙΙ).
